Welcome to GraphQ 2010

Graph-based data models have recently gained much popularity as powerful means for data representation in several database application areas. Notable examples are biological and chemical databases, computer vision and pattern recognition, Web-scattered data, healthcare, personal information management (PIM) and enterprise information management (EIM) systems, social networks, just to mention a few. The largeness and complexity of datasets in these domains make their querying a really challenging task.
The overall goal of the workshop is to bring people from different fields together, exchange research ideas and results, and encourage discussion about how to efficiently and effectively support graph queries in different application domains and to understand the research challenges of such an area.
The workshop is co-located with The 14th East-European Conference on
Advances in Databases and Information Systems (ADBIS 2010)
.
