I was born in Sassuolo on November 8, 1981.

I received the Laurea degree in Computer Engineering with honours and encomium from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy) in december 2005. In 2006 I started my Ph.D. experience at DII (Department of Information Engineering - University of Modena and Reggio Emilia) in the field of Information Retrieval, Semantic Web and Peer-to-Peer networks for data sharing. On february 2009 I received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering with a thesis entitled "Query Processing in a Peer Data Management System". At present I have a post-doc position in the same department in the field of Wireless Sensor Networks and RFID technologies.
