I was born in Modena on November 8, 1976.

I got the Laurea degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy) in march 2002. In 2003 I started my Ph.D. experience at DII (University of Modena and Reggio Emilia) in the field of Information Retrieval, Multi-lingual Information Management and Similarity Search and on february 2006 I received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science Engineering with a thesis entitled "Information Retrieval Techniques for Pattern Matching". At present I'm an associate researcher in the same department.
